One trade, done properly
Flagstaff Water Heaters LLC is an owner-operated specialty contractor doing exactly what the name says: water heaters, in and around Flagstaff, and nothing else.
Why a specialist
Most plumbing companies treat water heaters as one line on a long menu. We inverted that: the van, the parts shelf, the training and the calendar are all built around one appliance. The van is stocked for the common failures, the diagnosis starts on the phone instead of in your driveway, and the person installing your heater specializes in exactly this job.
Who you're dealing with
Flagstaff Water Heaters is owned and run by Kanaan Mills. When you call, you're talking to the company. Not a call center, not a dispatcher reading a screen. Kanaan works at elevation every day. Altitude sizing is the founding idea here.
How we work
- Booked appointments. Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. You get a window planned around your day, and we keep it.
- Written prices, first. The number comes before the work, flat and in writing. If the job changes once it's open, the price is re-approved before we continue.
- Permits, always. Replacements are pulled on permit and inspected: the code's second set of eyes on our work.
- Plain answers. If a repair will outlive its worth, we'll say "replace" and show the math. If a flush buys your tank years, we'll say that instead.
Licensed, bonded and insured
Flagstaff Water Heaters LLC holds Arizona contractor licence ROC 367669 and carries the surety bond the Registrar requires before a licence is issued. The company also carries commercial general liability insurance in its own name. Ask and we will send the certificate. It has been a BBB Accredited Business since September 2026.
The badge on the door
The mountains on our badge are the San Francisco Peaks, the reason this company exists. Every install in their shadow gets sized for the air it will actually burn.
